Gorgeous color that radiates in the sunlight! Does this gingko shed its leaves as quickly as here? They fall and create an immediate carpet below.

@Steven: Hi Steven, yes they all seem to come down in just two or three days. I was lucky to see this one at its peak.

Absolutely beautiful, against that clear Kyoto sky, so vibrant and evocative.
