The Museum of Kyoto - Made in Britain!

Posted by
Stu (From Scotland | Working in Kyoto, Japan) on 11 January 2022 in Architecture and Portfolio.

The Museum of Kyoto is located on Sanjo Street in downtown Kyoto. The main hall of the Museum of Kyoto is a magnificent brick structure, which was formerly the Kyoto branch of the Bank of Japan, which opened in 1906, and is now the annex of the museum. The bricks were apparently imported from Britain.
