Why would anyone want to photograph an indisputably colourful world in monochrome? If colour film had been invented first, would anybody even contemplate photographing in black and white?

The kid running around in the background has me stumped. Did you reduce this to B&W and then paint him back to colour? I look forward to hearing your response on Friday. BTW, this is sensational and so NOT Japanese, and yet so Japanese. :D
