@kairospix: Thanks Kairospix! It was really noisy so I smoothed it off in photoshop as much as I could but this was the best I could do.

I think I've never seen a more beautiful spider shot. It's reduced to the essentials: the spider and its cobweb. There's no disctracting background. The composition is very good, too.
