Bali 4 - The Flower

Posted by
Stu (From Scotland | Working in Kyoto, Japan) on 8 December 2006 in Lifestyle & Culture.

As well as dragonflies, statues were also all over the place in Bali, mostly linked to the predominant religion on the island, Hinduism. There were many Bhuddist ones too though.
Everyday, they would each have a fresh, white and yellow or red flower placed behind the left ear by peoples' me at least. Something to do with the left and right and the yin and yang apparently.
If any viewers could shed some light on this I'd love to hear it.
Thanks for visiting!

You're so lucky Stu to go to a warm place I love summer and the flower you have captured here reminds me of the tropics. Nice shot.
