Yasaka-jinja is one of my favorite places, and you've captured it very well. I always admire how you are able to take such "large" shots, while I'm always scurrying around in my miniscule shots. I find it difficult to contain the photo in a good composition with such a broad view, but you do it with great style. My one thought is: what if you cropped out the building at the farthest left side, so that the composition on the left would begin with the leaning tree. Placing my hand over that section, the photo seems to me (and I'm sure others will rightfully disagree) a little more "contained" on that side and you build up a stronger relationship between the two main lit structures. Just a thought.
