Out for a walk

Posted by Stu (Scotland | Residing in Kyoto, Japan) on 13 November 2007 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Been away but now I'm back....perhaps not regularly at the moment though. Many thanks for the ass-kicking while I've been gone, mentioning no names cough cough Amy, cough splutter Sash. There's been alot going on the last month or two and I've found myself totally demotivated and apathetic photographically speaking and in other ways. Only taken a handful of shots in the last 6 weeks or so and no more than 2 of them weren't awful. Got to build up a reserve of photos again (and catch up with what you guys have been up to), but I'm gonna be pretty busy from now until Christmas at least so I doubt I'll be posting daily like I used to...not for a while anyway.
That being said, gonna start off with this one that I took on the train on the way to Nara (the old capital of Japan) with my mum and girlfriend last week. Didn't have any idea what to do with it so messed around with it for a while and this is what came out.
Thanks for dropping by!

Great result for 'messing around'. Welcome back!

Bender Bending Rodriguez from Adelaide, Australia

Hey, you're still alive. Congratulations! I hope you post those two photos that weren't awful some time soon coz, man, this one's shite! Ah, I'm kidding. You're all right.* Personally, I'd like to see greater extension of leg and lesser extension of faux dog. Dogs and handbags remind me of that skank heiress whose name cannot be mentioned through fear of conjuring Norse gods of flatulence (or some shit). Seiously though, you're all right, and you're welcome for the arse-kicking.

* That's me pretending to be the Bender with the removable magnetic soul patch, the one and the same whose name momentarily escapes me.

@Bender Bending Rodriguez: He he. Unorthodox as ever in your commenting Sash. Norse gods of flatulence?! Don't know where you get this stuff.
On reflection I agree with you and Amy about the leg. It's a little too see-through. Must've been distracted by skank heiresses.....

Remember I'm more polite than Sash!! Great come back Stu!! The messing around worked for a very cool image. However, I think I do agree with Sash that a bit more leg would be better... but I differ on the dog.. just the right amount of puppy!!

@amy: Thanks Amy. Yeah I agree with you and Sash. A little less transparency would be better for the leg.
Thanks for the welcome back!

Something unusual for tomorrow.....

Adiemus from Christchurch, New Zealand

Hi Stu - I'm in a similar space - great to have you back!! Perhaps our mojo went off together?!

14 Nov 2007 3:02am

@Adiemus: I think it may have, adiemus. I lost it totally about 5 or 6 weeks ago.

Thanks for stopping by.

This shot is way cool Stu! But, with regards to your commentary about being too busy, you gotta take a lesson from Amy and get your priorities straight! I'm half serious and half not! :0)
