Sashmo Au.go.go from AustraliaThat water droplet experiencing itself subjectively really makes me marvel at its audacity. A slice of brilliant timing and sheer Scottish luck would be the assumption there, methinks. Grand show, old chap. Life is but a dream. We forget that sometimes. ;) 4 Sep 2007 12:39pm @Sashmo Au.go.go: ....and we are only the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather! Daroru from Amagasaki, JapanInteresting processing. Where was this Stu, to get such a clear shot of the tower? 4 Sep 2007 3:37pm @Daroru: Thanks D! Think I overcooked this one now that I look at it. It's called Shosei-en. Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaSee what happens when I'm not around? the Kyoto Tower gets all tilty! Great (overcooked) shot though. 4 Sep 2007 7:24pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaLove this one Stu!! It's just so.. god, I hate to use this word but... vibrant!! It's like it's jumping off the screen at me. What pp did you use, tho'? Was this a titch of Orton? and yet it looks just a wee bit HDR in the trees to the left.. hmmm.. 5 Sep 2007 3:57pm @amy: thx Amy! Wee bit of Orton. Never succeeded in doing HDR before but i guess it does look a bit like that. Just did shadow/highlight to brighten up the darker areas. Dang from Marietta, United StatesWhat a wonderful area to photograph. Nice description for the shot, well done. 8 Dec 2007 12:04pm |
