Sashmo Au.go.go from Adelaide, AustraliaAnything that reminds me of Japan these days seems to generate a slight tear (not an entire tear, mind you) from the ducts of emotional excessess. I can't quite pinpoint this curiosity, but at last I know what it is in this image: it's the shapes and reflections of shapes; the sepia tone; the simplicity and subtlety... Skyping you right now... You sound dodgy... Me? You? Yep.... YOU!!! 28 Aug 2007 10:46am Sashmo Au.go.go from Adelaide, Australia170km?!!!!! Massive beer gut? Cycling's good, I hear. Hottest day on record = Gifu!!! What??? Sweaty ballbag? Excellent Stu!!! The sepia was genius. Question: what did you do to get that slight ghosting effect around the pagoda and small tree line? 29 Aug 2007 2:05am @Amy: Thanks Amy! Actually that wasn't intended. I think it's a halo caused by my heavy handed sharpening ;-) David from Melbourne, AustraliaI would love to go to japan after seeing these photos! 31 Aug 2007 5:33am |
