WoWii! Where did you shoot this from! It's beautiful! I have a 70-300mm too but how close could one get to the moon with that? You took this from a hill or something?

@Josh: Thanks Josh! Looks like I've been rumbled. My EOS has 10 mega pixels and this is maximum zoom (optical). Just really wanted to post a moon pic so broke with my usual principle of not mass cropping.

I had lunch with Pink Floyd on the other side to the one you've shown here. I had Atlantic Salmon and schnapps (when in Rome...), although I fear the time of travel from the salmon's point of origin to my pallete made it unavoidably dry. Three cheers for la luna...Hip-hip...
