C U B E from bruges, BelgiumI love what you have done here Stu! great great composition, and colours are awesome 3 Jul 2007 10:28am Sash from Adelaide, AustraliaNice mate. And a great insight into the stereotypical association with your adopted country. Somehow I reckon this would be better without the guy closest to camera in the shot. The guy/girl in the yellow top - particularly where you've captured the swing - is an instant drawcard. It's just a personal view, not a criticism. 3 Jul 2007 11:06am Kheoh Yee Wei from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysiahah! i should have thought of coming to this place to shoot photos ! Great shot. 3 Jul 2007 11:34am Daroru from Amagasaki, JapanNice one Stu. Like your PP. Like the motion blur on the guy in front and how you've caught the details of the people on the lower levels. Remember that scene at the driving range in Ridley Scott's 'Black Rain'? Makes me want to watch that film again. Have occasionally tried to work out where he filmed that scene... (the shinkansen was in the background and as it was set in Osaka I reckon I know which driving range it was...) 3 Jul 2007 2:23pm Bob Israel from Brookfield, WI, United StatesLovely curves and a great title. I really like this image and wonder if it would also be equally great in B&W? 3 Jul 2007 3:49pm @Bob Israel: Thanks Bob! This is my first little experiment with lomo. I found a good little tutorial and liked what it did to the colours. The original is much more vibrant. Actually when I took the shot I was planning to go b&w with it and I did try a b&w conversion but felt that it lost something. I love b&w though and always compare it to colour before deciding what to post. Many thanks for the input! Celialee from Kyoto, JapanI absolutely love this! I love the fact that you can see the different levels. Wow. 3 Jul 2007 5:43pm Levine from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaA dangerous place to bring ur camera to. Haha. You captured movements too. Very cool 3 Jul 2007 6:01pm allen from Philippinesnice title and framing!! i love the blurred hands of the guy on the foreground great show of movements and the DOF is amazing too! 4 Jul 2007 2:06am Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaReally nice tones, colours and composition. Love the way it 'swings' away at the back revealing other layers. Very melancholy tone here. 4 Jul 2007 8:42pm Hoshisato from Ealing, United KingdomVery nice point of view, lovely action and perfect lines. A very nice shot 18 Jan 2009 7:03pm |
