Wonderful compositin Stu. I like the DOF range and overall glow. I wonder what it might look like if the cat were just a bit sharper. Well done.

@Bob Israel: You're right Bob. I did my best to sharpen up the face especially but this was the best I could do. I think I need to explore some new sharpening techniques that don't affect the rest of the image.

It's a cool shot - shows lots of respect for the cat meeting him on his terms. He could be one the cats in Murakami's Kafka on the Shore. I'd love to hear what stories he has to tell.
