I expected more visible movement from the branches for a 13-second exposure. The way it's turned out is a bit of a bonus. It looks almost as if it's a painting, especially where the treeline meets the wooden posts. Borderline surreal. :)

@Sash: Yeah it's odd. There was absolutely no breeze that evening. Everything was completely still around me. Quite spooky being there actually, Nanzenji is quite surreal at night, especially when you are alone. I went back there at midnight the next night to get one of the shots for Damon's water theme starting on May 1st. I don't mind admitting to being scared at times during that photo session!

Very nice. As Sash points out this does have a surreal element to it, I guess it's the unique lighting, a type that quite difficult to capture. You've done with with the 13 sec exposure
