Great light falling on the sakura Stu. Got it in full bloom looks like?

Sash from Adelaide, Australia

Good composition here Stu, and not easy to get a sky that isn't completely white from such an angle. I assume you were there @ the right time of the day.

I miss this time of year in Japan...Was just looking @ some of my shots from April last year and almost wept like a schoolgirl. Just as well I didn't coz I'm not a female and it would've been a mission to try to explain the incident to the wife. :-(

Yukie from Kyoto, Japan

Lovely photo, Stu. beautiful colours.... The dark colours of shirine makes a really good contrast with light pink of Sakura. This should be use as a poster for a visit Japan campaign!
