@benjamin: Hey Benjamin! Thanks mate! Not the same house but in the same neighbourhood. This is a restaurant I think, in Gion, Kyoto. It's famous for Geisha and top-class restaurants and bars.

My kind of shot, the shadows stretching back to the wooden door, the way the sun lights the scene and it's simple nature make for quite a dynamic photo. The red bonsai to the right of the door completes this scene perfectly for me. Another great photo.
