VFXY Photos Cool Photoblogs
I get claustrophobic just looking at this one. There's only one way to go...but it doesn't look like a way I'd like to take.
Nice work Stu.

Superb. What kind of tunnel is this?

@Helen: Thanks Helen! This runs under one of the main rail lines out of Kyoto.
Is that the tunnel in Keage? It seems longer.

@JC: Thanks JC! This is next to my apartment in Misasagi. It runs under the JR line.

Oooh, back to wide-angle. Did you get your lens back? This is a fun shot - love those light patterns! You could do a series on pedestrian tunnels - a memorable feature of Japanese cities.

@Damon Schreiber: Thanks Damon! Yes indeedy, the wide angle has returned from surgery at Canon and seems to be fully functional, although it remains under close observation before being given a clean bill of health. Like the pedestrian tunnel idea. Hmmm.....
Great perspective Stu, nice photo! I recommend you the song Tunnel Vision of John Petrucci!

There is one pedestrian tunnel here I can think of and it's not somewhere you'd go if you didn't have to. But if it's to get a shot like this, it might be worth it. Great lines. Nicely done.
