@Sidonie: Thanks Sidonie! Felt the quake here - just - it was really small. The epicentre was a couple of prefectures away (in Ishikawa) and was larger up there.

The supremely blurred background is what makes this photo tick. The depth of field in this scene really is fantastic. The vividness of the colours also work very well.
