Great dof, they are like wee ballerina's! Is it that time already? Too early for spring in your part of the world, surely - I'm not ready for autumn yet!!

@Bronnie: It's been a really mild winter here, Bronnie. Hardly winter at all in fact. Seemed to go from Autumn to Spring. My fear is that the cockroaches will love it! We don't get them in Scotland and although I admire them as survivors, I absolutely abhor them.
Beautiful again Stu!

Very pretty, indeed. But just a tad claustrophobic for me! They're too abundant!

Wow I can't believe you're getting spring so early. Today was the first day in quite a while here when the temps reached over freezing. This is a beautiful explosion of colour and will be most welcome after the winter. I find the oof part in the left foreground a touch distracting, though.

@Damon Schreiber: Thanks Damon. It's been an extremely mild winter here. I walked along the philosopher's path today behind Nanzenji (you've been there, right?) and some of the cherry blossoms were starting to bloom already. Very unusual indeed. There will be many disappointed tourists here in April I think.
great focus on this one.

My wife (who's a sakura connoisseur from Kansai) points out that these are plum blossoms which are more typical for late February. So all is not lost for sakura-seeking tourists, though April may well be too late.

@Damon Schreiber: Thanks Damon. I should probably have pointed out that I didn't take this shot on the Philosopher's path, think I might have given the impression that this was a cherry blossom. Oops.
I like it. Like the way you've played with the dof. Beautiful colours.
