Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandLovely shot this - the orange and black is so crisp. Like the title too! 16 Feb 2007 7:20am Ins@no from Porto, PortugalI like the stong orange and the sensation that we're walking with them, going downstairs. Cheers, 16 Feb 2007 8:24am Manuela Photography from Hainburg (near Frankfurt/Main), GermanyThe perspective and depth is so good that one feels to be in the picture! 16 Feb 2007 8:49am Kheoh Yee Wei from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaI wish you could take this shot at the center of this pathway maybe that would be great ! Anyway this is a great shot !!! 16 Feb 2007 9:38am Colour blind from Tokyo, JapanGeez...go the DOF this is fantastic. Just a suggestion, if you waited a little longer for them to be a little lower I think it would have added more to the effect of 3 dimensions. But that's just my thoughts. The colours are fantastic btw!! 16 Feb 2007 1:05pm Rebecca from United Statesi love that this is off-center.the lighting, the colors, the composition, all of it together makes this really an impressive photograph. 16 Feb 2007 8:27pm jc from Irelandcool composition and wonderful vibrant colour, nice one! trying to catch up with some of the work i've been missing lately, apologies for lack of comments.. 16 Feb 2007 9:15pm Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaNice one Stu, although I think it might have worked better if there were people walking towards the camera; but then you'd have to call is 'ascending'. Still, love the off-centre compostion and the contrasts of the orange beams against the characters and coats on the people 16 Feb 2007 11:51pm Michael from Glasgow, United KingdomGreat colour and the lead in through the frame is superb. I do like that the figures are off-centre, but might have like it even more it with them walking up. Great shot all the same. 18 Feb 2007 12:04am Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanWonderful perspective, everything works perfectly, the location of the persons, and how you are driven to the temple at the end, nice one! 18 Feb 2007 7:37am Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandI keep coming back to this one, I love that it is people descending, coming up would put the focus on the people rather than the whole setting. The line right down the steps to the bottom is great, which is why I like the off-centre composition. 18 Feb 2007 6:16pm @Bronnie: Thanks for both your comments on this one Bronnie!
