benjamin from Singaporewonderful wonderful... this ones really amazing. really fantastic job... but why is it "knot" and not "not"? 7 Jan 2007 7:19am @benjamin: good question benjamin. if you look closely at the bamboo that the hishyaku (kind of wooden ladle) is resting on, you can see that they are bound together by two pieces of black string, that are knotted on top. i sometimes like to mess around with the title and make it relevant to something in the picture, something subtle that you have to look for. Kheoh Yee Wei from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaYour main subject of the photo is very appealing ! Good job ! 7 Jan 2007 7:30am Rene from Kitchener-Waterloo, CanadaSweet, the whole feel of this is nice. I like the toning too. 7 Jan 2007 8:03am Colour blind from Tokyo, JapanThe focus is fantastic!!! Thank you so much for all your visits whilst I've been in Oz. I can truely say that your photos have been getting better and better. I'm also looking forward to seeing what you can do in 07. Keep it up mate. 7 Jan 2007 8:17am Maoya from Rolle, SwitzerlandThe "color" in this one is perfect. The focus brings out the subject but yet you're still teasing us to look beyond and figure out what's behind. Lovely shot! 7 Jan 2007 8:58am Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesVery nicely done! Post processing is right on! 7 Jan 2007 9:05am Lucca's café from Cologne, Germanybeautiful! good focus, toning fits very well in this case. 7 Jan 2007 10:00am jc from Tokyo, Japanwonderful shot, stu. the framing, dof and processing are really great. one of my favourites of yours! 7 Jan 2007 12:31pm Zach Siebert from Bologna, Italythe dop and color is truly professional. rock on, stu. 7 Jan 2007 3:56pm Angry Buddha from United StatesWow.
