As well as dragonflies, statues were also all over the place in Bali, mostly linked to the predominant religion on the island, Hinduism. There were many Bhuddist ones too though. Everyday, they would each have a fresh, white and yellow or red flower placed behind the left ear by peoples' unknown.......to me at least. Something to do with the left and right and the yin and yang apparently. If any viewers could shed some light on this I'd love to hear it. Thanks for visiting!
