First of all let me thank everyone who has continued to post comments while I've been away. I'm just about to do the rounds to all of you now and see what I've missed this week! This is one of the terraced rice paddies. Thought I'd make this the first post cause it's one of those images that people most associate with Indonesia.

Those are truly impressive and a great photo subject! Welcome back. King Kong comes to mind for some reason although I don't think they had rice patties on Skull Island :)

Bloody amazing shot mate!!! This would be awesome with all the water before the rice grows!! Top shot mate. Looks like something out of 3D mario brothers. I love the greens almost feels like you could just land on it and it'd feel like a bed of pillows.
